The Practice

The practice model at Emalfarb, Swan & Bain is unique and borrows from many disciplines. Emalfarb, Swan & Bain’s central office in the Chicagoland area serves as a general counsel’s site from which transmittal forms and documentation are sent to independent local counsel throughout the United States and Canada for the clients.  This aspect of our practice has actually been called, “the only national mechanic’s lien plant in the county.”  We pride ourselves on our ability to work with and defer to the expertise of our independent local counsel while at the same time managing our client’s legal needs with a keen eye to economic impact and timeliness.
